It has been exactly a year since I moved from Raleigh to Charlotte and coincidentally, I am back in Raleigh for a final 3-day work meeting.

I just made (and ate) some of the best enchiladas I have ever tasted.
Getting a smoothie at Jamba Juice for the first time in my life.
The new Dredg is really doing it for me now. Sorta makes me wish I had ignored the pre-release promo.

Took my Inbox from 783 down to 40 emails so far today and got in a 5 mile run...feeling productive.
I really can't wait until I can start working again. I am going absolutely insane sitting at home every day with nothing to do.

After reading a bunch if quirky more "intellectual" books over the last few months, it was a nice break to read a quick crime novel.
New Regina Spektor = awesome as expected.

Went for an 8 mile run along the beach this morning. Pretty much perfect.

I haven't had crap to do for work in 6 months and all a sudden the day before I go on vacation for a week, I am slammed!
So for the third year in a row I signed up for the NYC Marathon but didn't get picked in the lottery. Sucks.

Dinner with Leigh, Robbie, Amy, and Grant and now coffee before my first horror movie in years: Drag Me to Hell.
Wow. 13 miles of knee deep creeks, rocky down hills, rope bridges, and lake crossings. Not a bad morning!
Headed to Rock Hill for a trail half marathon. Should be nice and muddy!

Of course my cable and Internet went out just in time for the Champions League final. Will have to wait until tonight's re-run to watch.
